You are placing a non-refundable DEPOSIT on a whole fresh bird. Birds are priced at $12/pound, and the final price will be determined at delivery. Please do not expect the final price to be $20. This year the birds we offer will be one of several heritage breed birds, Cayuga, Appleyard, Black Swedish, Acona or Magpie. We are not able to specify the breed in advance. The birds were chosen for slow growth and excellent taste. These are young birds hatched in 2023, fully pastured and with plenty of space to explore. They are less fatty and far more flavorful than conventional store bought Long Island duckling. Our birds are raised in a natural environment, with free access to grass, brush and trees.

Unlike commercial white Pekin ducks, these heritage breeds are multicolored. Please expect some residual dark feathers under the skin. They do not effect the flavor of the meat. Average weight 4.2 pounds

Birds will be harvested December 20th and are available for pick up at Stone Ridge Orchard and NYC. Please indicate your pick up location when you place the order. Birds may be picked up at Stone Ridge Orchard by appointment, TBA. There will be one delivery to New York City on or about December 22. Birds may be picked up in New York City at The Marshall Restaurant at 628 10th Avenue during business hours on December 22-24. There is a $25 surcharge to cover transportation costs for birds delivered to New York City.  

These birds will be processed at a NYS inspected 5A facility and are only legal for sale in New York State. We apologize, but we are unable to ship our birds out of state.
